Columbia Athletics will update its venue and spectator guidelines this fall and winter

NEW YORK – Columbia University Athletics has announced a spectator tour for all home fall and winter sports competitions. All guidelines are consistent with University Task Force, City, and State health and safety guidelines. These Venue Policies and Protocols are effective immediately.

All attending spectators aged 12 and over must present a vaccination card to enter all Columbia Athletics venues. Unvaccinated individuals will not be admitted to any Columbia University Athletics venue. The Reopen CU app will not be sufficient to access these venues.

Spectators must wear a mask at all indoor and outdoor Columbia Athletics venues and facilities. When attending large public gatherings in the open air, it is important to take recommended precautions, including wearing a mask to protect yourself.

Concessions in all halls are prohibited.

All policies are subject to change.

Baker Athletic Complex

  • All spectators must be vaccinated for all events at the Baker Athletic Complex.
  • All spectators must wear a mask at all times in Columbia Athletics outdoor venues. Spectators aged 5-11 do not need to be vaccinated but must wear masks at all times. Viewers under the age of 5 are strongly advised to wear face covering whenever possible. Admission to all events is at 1905 Gate west of the main gate (Gate B) on 218th St. and Park Terrace West.
  • Spectators must use the entry queues before entering a baggage control line.
  • Spectators must provide evidence of their vaccination in one of the following ways;

Levien High School

  • The number of participants is limited to 70%
  • All spectators must provide evidence of their vaccination in one of the following ways;
  • You must wear a mask at all times indoors.
  • Disposable masks and cloth masks are acceptable.
  • No neck gaiters, buffs or masks with valves are allowed.
  • All viewers must enter Levien High School through the front doors on Broadway and West 120th Street. There will be no entrance through the 4th floor of the Dodge Fitness Center.
  • Spectators are allowed to leave the gym and come back again. All spectators must present a vaccination card upon re-entry. If the event is provided with a ticket, the spectators must also show their ticket when re-entering.

Percy Uris Natatorium

  • Entry is limited to a reserved pass list maintained by the men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams

  • All fans must enter from campus, down the stairs in front of the main entrance to the Dodge Fitness Center and through the Grove.
  • All viewers with barrier-free access can enter the Dodge Fitness Center via the elevator in Pupin Plaza (5th floor).
