Companies That Powered Frisco’s Economy in 2021

As one of the fastest growing cities in the country – both in terms of economy and population – Frisco has seen a number of developments in its business community over the past year.

Frisco Economic Development Corporation helped drive some of this development by managing eight projects and yielding a potential capital investment of $276 million, 2,092 new or retained jobs and 554,356 square feet of potential growth, according to the city’s comprehensive annual financial report.

Here are 14 businesses that have moved or expanded in Frisco, according to the organization:

• Caddis Partners began development of the Frisco Medical Pavilion II.
• Cain Watters & Associates has committed to renting office space in Frisco.
• The Dallas Cowboys began building a new office tower in the Star District.
• The Frisco Station partnership continued construction of the corporate district of the development.
• The Hall Group began a $7 billion redevelopment of its 162-acre office park. The park across from the Cowboy’s Star development will include a 16-story, 410,000-square-foot office tower, a 19-story, 214-unit apartment building, a 154-room boutique hotel and a 10,000-square-foot food hall.
• keurig dr Pepper opened its new headquarters in a new office building in the Star District, relocating from Plano.
• Magellan Health expanded its board offices with a Healthcare Innovation Center in Frisco.
• Medical City Frisco completed construction of its new medical office building and ambulatory surgery center.
• Northwest Hardwoods announced it will be moving its headquarters from Tacoma, Washington to Frisco.
• PGA of America completed most of the construction of a new headquarters in Frisco, and the Omni PGA Frisco Resort began building a hotel and facilities on site.
• The Star Business Park was expanded with the construction of two new warehouse buildings.
• Texas Health Frisco begins expansion to add sixth floor.
• T-Mobile is expanding with 250 new jobs.
• Wiley X began construction of its new headquarters, which will be part of a move from California to Frisco.
