Senate candidate Nelson discusses the importance of manufacturing to the economy during the La Crosse stop

Nelson is one of 11 Democrats hoping to run against Republican Ron Johnson.

LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WKBT) – U.S. Senate candidate Tom Nelson stopped on the north side of La Crosse Saturday to discuss his economic plan.

Nelson is currently the county executive of Outagamie County in northeastern Wisconsin.

He says keeping manufacturing jobs in the state will keep the economy strong for everyone.

“Even if you don’t work in manufacturing, it’s so important because for every job you do in manufacturing, you’re supporting at least three or four others in the community,” said US Senate nominee Tom Nelson.

Nelson is one of 11 Democrats hoping to run against Republican Ron Johnson this November.
