Actor Will Smith has spoken publicly about how he felt reading his wife’s new book, Jada Pinkett Smith.
Her new memoir, Worthy, contains incredible details about her relationship with will and their lives as a whole.
Blacksmith read the book and decided to write an open letter to the British podcaster Jay Shettywho then read it out loud Pinkett Smith on a new episode of his podcast titled “On Purpose.”

Will Smith’s reaction to “Worthy”
“I just turned the last page of ‘Worthy,'” he wrote Blacksmith. “It’s amazing to realize that even though I’ve spent most of my life by your side, I was still shocked and stunned and surprised, first laughing, then inspired, then heartbroken. I was completely confused.”
He continued: “It’s one thing to hear anecdotes at a family barbecue, but it was truly overwhelming to absorb the history effectively condensed in this way.”
The couple married in 1997 and it seems that despite everything that has come to light in recent weeks, Will Smith still has a positive attitude towards his wife and the book.
“I know it wasn’t easy to dig the depths like this. I applaud and honor you,” he wrote in the letter. “If I had read this book 30 years ago, I would definitely have hugged you more. I start now. Welcome to the authors club. I love you endlessly. Now get some Merlot and get some rest.”
After Inconsequential Finished reading Blacksmith‘s words, Pinkett Smith laughing out loud in the podcast. “He knows I can’t have Merlot!” she exclaimed. “That is beautiful. That’s why I can’t divorce this joker.”
She continued tearfully, “To hear him say that he would have hugged me more is to me hearing him say that he would have taken a little more time to listen and understand.”
