Top celebrities join Cameo to support Soccer Aid for Unicef

The world’s largest charity soccer game, Soccer Aid for UNICEF, announced that Cameo – the celebrity engagement platform – will be a partner for the 2022 game. Starting today, Soccer Aid will support UNICEF’s biggest stars including former England goalkeeper David Seaman, four-time Olympic champion, Sir Mo Farah, Brazilian world champion, Cafu, Oscar winner and President of UNICEF UK, Olivia Colman, UNICEF UK Ambassador Dermot O ‘Leary, Gemma Chan, David Harewood and Charley Boorman, as well as UNICEF UK supporters Cel Spellman and Amita Suman, will be available on Cameo’s platform. Fans can now work with their favorite stars to raise funds for children around the world, with all proceeds going to UNICEF UK.

The fundraising project will also be available to supporters after the game, which takes place at the London Stadium on Sunday 12 June and will be broadcast live on ITV and STV. Football assists for UNICEF 2022 debutants include: Liam Payne, Mark Noble, Alex Brooker, Steven Bartlett, Petr Cech, Emma Hayes, Andrea Pirlo, Eni Aluko, Carli Lloyd, Noah Beck and Munya Chawawa. They are accompanied by returning stars, such as Usain Bolt, Martin Compston, Lee Mack, Damian Lewis, Aitch and Chunkz. Also returning is longtime host and UNICEF UK Ambassador Dermot O’Leary, who is once again joined by Touchline reporter Alex Scott and Maya Jama, who are back in the expert seat.

The line-up is further bolstered by a number of football stars including: Andriy Shevchenko, Gary Neville, Teddy Sheringham, Jamie Carragher, David James, Fara Williams, Patrice Evra, Cafu and Joe Cole. Harry Redknapp returns, but this time as England manager, while legendary coach Arsene Wenger takes charge of Soccer Aid World XI FC’s squad.
