George Kambosos vs Devin Haney celebrities, Damian Lillard to attend, will Manny Pacquiao be there, The Kid Laroi

NBA superstar Damian Lillard will be among the stars attending Sunday’s blockbuster world title showdown between Australia’s George Kambosos and American Devin Haney at Melbourne’s Etihad Stadium.

The six-time NBA All-Star is a passionate boxing fan and arrives in Australia this week as the guest of promoter Lou DiBella.

Portland Trail Blazers star Lillard is not linked to either fighter but will jump at the chance to witness one of the biggest fights on earth this year as every lightweight belt is put on the line in the quest for the undisputed champion.

One of the biggest names in basketball, Lillard is spending a little time between the ropes of his own, appearing in a commercial earlier this year against former interim WBC lightweight champion Ryan Garcia. The 31-year-old regularly posts boxing videos for his more than 9 million followers on Instagram.

Sunday’s event promises to be a star-studded event that will also feature Australian rapper The Kid Laroi, along with some of the country’s biggest sports stars.

Legendary boxer Manny Pacquiao, a friend and former training partner of Kambosos, also has a ticket and is expected to travel down under from the Philippines.
