Elon Musk, known for his sometimes controversial, mysterious, and prophetic tweets, remains one of the most influential figures in the cryptocurrency industry. Crypto community members highlighted two interesting posts that could indicate the beginning and end of a bearish market.

Back on November 13, 2021, when Bitcoin was trading at almost $70,000, Elon Musk released another mysterious tweet without any explanation. It was a picture of a famous character from DC Comics, Dr. Manhattan sitting on Mars and looking into the abyss.

According to this post, Bitcoin lost almost 50% of its value in less than three months, and the cryptocurrency market in general lost billions of dollars in capitalization. Users didn’t notice anything unusual, suggesting that the entrepreneur just shares a character he likes.

Dr.Manhattan turns his back on reversal

On May 28, Elon Musk shared a similar image of Dr. Manhattan now facing the camera, prompting a flurry of comments suggesting that Musk is hinting at a reversal in the cryptocurrency market.

The theory got its “confirmation” after Bitcoin opened this week with a comfortable 5% growth. Despite a successful open, Bitcoin has yet to rise far enough to consider a full reversal and hasn’t even broken the consolidation channel formed since early May.

While it’s not possible to say with certainty if Musk just got lucky in predicting reversal points in BTC, it’s still hard to deny that the Tesla and SpaceX co-founder could have some insight into the upcoming moves of major wealth funds and other institutional investors.

At press time, BTC is hovering around $30,600, up 4% over the past 24 hours.
