According to TMZ sources, singer Joe Jonas and actress Sophie Turner are reportedly considering a divorce. Fans have speculated that the celebrity couple has split due to photos showing them without their wedding rings in recent weeks. A source speaking to the publication said the couple have been experiencing “serious issues” for at least the past six months.
The couple have two children together, and the source claimed they were with Jonas when he was touring the US and he took care of them “pretty much the whole time.”
Turner and Jonas also recently sold their Miami mansion, which they bought just a year ago, indicating some changes in their lifestyle. The couple met in 2016 and got engaged a year later. They married in 2019 and had their children in 2020 and 2022.
Just two weeks ago, Turner shared photos of himself with Jonas from his tour and their summer together. In one of them, she kisses her husband’s hand as they walk past photographers. In another, she shows off her collection of bracelets that contain beads that form his surname.
Jonas shared a photo of himself with his brothers gathered around a fire pit on Saturday, September 2, where his wedding ring is clearly visible.
Since her iconic role as Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones, Turner has starred in several X-Men films and HBO’s The Staircase. But last year she told ELLE UK that one of her biggest priorities is being a mum.
“For me, life is about raising the next generation,” she said at the time. “The best thing in life is to see my daughter getting stronger and stronger. We are very excited to expand the family. It’s the best blessing ever.”
