Celebrities Shaken By 4.8 Earthquake In New York City: Jessica Chastain, Al Roker & More React

Celebrities prove they're just as shocked as the rest of us when an unexpected earthquake hits!
Stars reacted on social media Friday to a 4.8 magnitude earthquake that was felt throughout the New York City area.
Actress Busy Philipps was initially confused when she felt the quake. “Not to be weird, was there just an earthquake in New York?” she wrote on “I think there was an earthquake in New York.”

Bethenny Frankel recorded a short video story for her followers. “Did anyone else just feel an earthquake? Because I just felt the earth moving beneath my feet. “I thought a plane was going to fly into my house,” the “Real Housewives” alum said in disbelief.
Rachel Zegler, like many others, clearly still has Beyoncé's latest album on her mind, even in the midst of the seismic activity. “In my opinion, the only thing the Earth has heard is 'Cowboy Carter'……. “I’m shaking my ass…….. shaking fr,” the Golden Globe winner joked.

The “Today” show's Al Roker took to Instagram with a question that was heard across NYC and beyond. “Did you feel the earthquake?” he asked his viewers after describing feeling the tremors in his dressing room on 30 Rock.
Actress Jessica Chastain also reacted with concern for her fellow New Yorkers. “This is really crazy. “I hope everyone is well and that our buildings were not damaged,” the Oscar winner wrote in response to a message from New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, who explained that the quake struck west of New York City.

However, Bravo's Andy Cohen seems to be in the minority who didn't notice. He explained in his Instagram story that he was in the middle of training. “I was too busy pushing this tart on the sleigh to feel the earthquake,” Cohen said.
