Aniruddh Dave: Celebrities should look at media exposure with a pinch of salt

Media glare can make the difference between success and failure, says actor Aniruddh Dave, who has featured in popular TV shows like Patiala Babes and YARO Ka Tashan, to name a few. The actor, who will soon be seen on screen with Kartik Aryan in his upcoming film Chandu Champion, adds that such a revelation should be considered very carefully and not all details about your personal life should be revealed.

“I think when it comes to media exposure, celebrities should approach it with caution. While media coverage can propel you to the top, it can also create an unfavorable image of you among your fans. That's why I believe that things that are believed to go wrong need to be strictly protected. I maintain that it is entirely up to a celebrity to decide how much they want to share,” he says.

He adds: “For me, everything related to my personal life has to be private. I'm trying to make sure this is protected. Otherwise, of course, everything else in a celebrity’s life is public and will come to light.”

He says that even though things have changed, there are many celebrities who refrain from sharing too much with the media or on social media. “While many celebrities share their children's faces, many worry about it and don't. I don't blame them. Within minutes of the face reveal, there will be a million memes, a million comments, and tons of rumors about what the baby looks like. Nobody wants that for their child. I see so many personalities who do their work very professionally. And that also means that they only share details from their professional lives. They dedicate themselves to their families, they go on vacation, they celebrate festivals; But they don’t allow anyone to have a look at their personal time,” he says.
