The Achieved Law enforcement Commissioner reported she is “dumbfounded” by allegations that two of her officers shared “inappropriate” photographs of a double murder scene.

The bodies of sisters Bibaa Henry and Nicole Smallman were being located before this month at Fryent Gardens in Wembley.

The officers have been arrested on suspicion of misconduct in a public business office and suspended from obligation.

Dame Cressida Dick mentioned she was appalled and disgusted non-formal shots experienced been taken and shared.


The Independent Workplace for Police Carry out (IOPC) claimed the shots were being allegedly “shared with a small selection of some others”, adding that the Achieved was “managing matters involving those people customers of the community who might have received those people photos”.

The sisters’ household previously advised of the “devastating influence” of their decline immediately after their cherished ones’ bodies have been discovered following to each other soon following 13:00 BST on 7 June.

Questioned if she approved criticism that there could have been an ingredient of institutional racism in the police response to the double murder, Dame Cressida claimed: “This is a horrible, awful double murder of two wonderful young ladies.

“My coronary heart goes out to their family members. It is just appalling.

“We have an enormous investigation, really effectively resourced and working with all the abilities not just in London but all throughout the region and over and above.”

Police beforehand introduced pics of senior social employee Ms Henry, from Brent in north-west London, and photographer Ms Smallman dancing with fairy lights just before they had been murdered.

Their previous contact with friends and loved ones was about 01:05, law enforcement claimed.
