Chelsea have agreed to sign Timo Werner from RB Leipzig on a five-year deal.
The forward, 24, has agreed particular conditions with the Blues and, subject to passing a clinical, will be part of in July right after the German league year finishes.
Werner, who joined Leipzig from Stuttgart in 2016, has scored 32 targets in all competitions so much this year.
“I am delighted to be signing for Chelsea, it is a happy instant for me to be signing up for this excellent club,” explained the German international.
Werner, who is recognized for his tempo and can also participate in as a winger, thanked the club and enthusiasts at Leipzig and explained they would “would generally be in my coronary heart”.
He included: “I search forward to following season with my new group-mates, my new supervisor and of system the Chelsea fans.
“Jointly we have a thriving potential in advance of us.”
Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia suggests the club is “psyched” to have 1 of Europe’s “most coveted players” heading to Stamford Bridge.
“He has that scarce blend of being youthful and interesting and but founded and proven,” she added.
Werner is Chelsea’s next signing for future period following they completed a £37m deal for Ajax winger Hakim Ziyech in February.
