The shooting took spot Friday all-around 1 a.m. at Texaco usefulness keep, according to a press release from the Shreveport Law enforcement Division. Officers arrived and found a gentleman with many gunshot wounds.
The guy was determined by Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office as Danzeria O. Farris Jr., 32, of Shreveport. He died of his wounds at Ochsner LSU Overall health Shreveport Healthcare facility, law enforcement said.
The 31-year-aged rapper, whose serious name is Christopher J. Dooley, was recognized as a suspect in the capturing. Dooley claimed the shooting was in self-protection immediately after a struggle around his vehicle, police explained.
“Investigators ended up capable to safe online video footage of the incident that detectives believe confirmed that Dooley did not act in self-defense,” the release said.
Detectives discovered the car in problem did not belong to Dooley, but was alternatively documented stolen from Texas.
