Deputy Nicholas Dreyfus, 28, was shot Wednesday when a guy opened fireplace outside the house a police station in Paso Robles, in accordance to the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Business.

The sheriff’s office discovered the suspect as Mason James Lira, 26, in a news launch Wednesday evening. He is from the Monterey area and is regarded armed and dangerous, the release claimed.

The gunfire occurred in the very same area Dreyfus was shot.
