An NYPD officer who was caught on camera putting a suspect in an illegal chokehold on Sunday was suspended with no fork out several hours later on, authorities explained.
“After a swift investigation by the Inner Affairs Bureau, a law enforcement officer concerned in a disturbing clear chokehold incident in Queens has been suspended with no pay out,” Police Commissioner Dermot Shea said in a statement Sunday night.
