TRI-CITIES, Washington – Here is your chance to meet some local celebrities while giving back to the community at the same time.

TC Black, a local luxury amusement ride, launches the first of its monthly charity dinners with public figures in the Tricity.

You have a week to bid on each auction that goes to a new charity each month. If you win, you will receive a paid dinner with the selected “Celebrity” of the month, a driver and chauffeur and dinner for two.

This month’s dinner is provided by the Tagaris Winery and you might have the opportunity to meet General James Mattis.

“I’ve ridden a lot of VIPs, which gave me intimate access,” said David McClain, owner of TC Black. “It’s cool, personal time with inspiring. to spend [and] successful people while still seeing that they are just normal people like everyone else! I thought it would be nice to give others the same opportunity. “

Bidding starts on July 23rd and lasts until August 1st. The proceeds will go to the Columbia Basin Veteran’s Center. The dinner itself will take place on August 17th.

If you can’t bid high on your own, McClain recommends meeting some friends or family and pooling your money. If the winner is declared, it will be raffled among the participants from the lucky two.

“I just want to get the community involved and at the same time showcase a fun new ‘Do Something’ in the Tri-Cities,” said McClain.

Other future guests include Kennewick PD Chief Ken Hohenberg, Tracci Dial and Stacy Lee, Olie “The Goalie” Kolzig, Mary Taylor (Taylored Living Magazine), Joel Watson (Just Joels), Adam and Jen (94.9 the Wolf) and Brad Klippert. Further participants are in the process of finalization.
