The Tether development team is preparing to release new JavaScript libraries designed to transmit commands and signals to Bitcoin (BTC) mining hardware such as WhatsMiner, AvalonMiner and Antminer devices.
The Tether bitcoin mining software will be open source
This new Tether BTC mining software, which is “high quality, sophisticated and modular”, will ensure mining capacity is managed more efficiently.
According to an Aug. 5 report tweet Bitfinex and Tether Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Paolo Ardoino will eventually release parts of this software on open source platforms.
Ardoino emphasized that he is a major contributor to the architecture of Moria, an orchestration tool for mining operations. All these latest developments are based on hole punch technology.
Tether’s CTO previously posted a tweet about Moria’s functionality. The mining instrument facilitates easy communication between elements in the BTC mining ecosystem. Moria helps them interact more efficiently, securely, attack-resistant and cost-effectively.
“Each device/miner is identified by a pub/private key and can receive data (hypercores)/commands (via hyperswarms) encrypted and securely. Reduced firewall configuration complexity, higher reliability, simple cross-site replication. “Feels more maintainable and modular than anything we’ve tried today,” says Ardoino explained.
Tether is doubling its strength in the bitcoin mining sector
In general, despite all the legal challenges and enforcement actions from regulators, Tether has done a lot in the crypto mining sector.
Shortly thereafter Revealing As the stablecoin issuer plans to allocate a certain percentage of its monthly profits to buying BTC, it announced its investment in energy production and sustainable BTC mining. The Crypto Protocol started Tether Energy in Uruguay in partnership with a local licensed company.
Ardoino mentioned that the new company will use cutting-edge technology, sustainable practices, and financial innovation for bitcoin mining, while using renewable energy sources to control its carbon footprint.
Currently, Uruguay is known for its renewable energy infrastructure. Remarkably, due to the abundant natural resources, almost 100% of the electricity comes from renewable sources. Considering all these positive factors, Tether believes it made the right choice.
