Ripple (XRP) will definitely lose to the SEC, but there’s a catch: Keizer

Max Keizer has commented again on the ongoing case between the US Securities and Exchange Commission and Ripple – the company behind XRP.

The Bitcoin permabull expects Ripple to lose, but the reason is not what many might think.

  • Max Keizer is a well-known proponent of Bitcoin – one who has been very vocal about the merits of the primary cryptocurrency.
  • He has also criticized several altcoins on many different occasions, and Ripple’s XRP was no exception.
  • In a recent tweet, he said Ripple would definitely lose its case against the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. But why?
  • Well, Keizer seems to think Gensler — the SEC chairman — is a “legbreaker for the banking mafia.”
  • Citing a Wall Street Journal article in which the SEC called the filing of spot bitcoin ETF filings “inadequate,” he said:

As previously explained, the SEC runs a protection racket for scammers on Wall Street, so this isn’t a huge surprise. It also means that XRP will definitely lose its case – as will everything that isn’t bitcoin (BTC is untouchable).

Not based on the law, but because Gary is killing off the banking mafia.

  • Just a week ago, Keizer also openly called Ripple a Ponzi scheme while claiming that the SEC will “kill XPR.”
