Avalanche blockchain developer Ava Labs announced that it will provide crypto infrastructure via Amazon Web Services (AWS) to encourage “blockchain adoption by corporations, institutions and governments.”

Through the AWS Marketplace, Ava Labs offers “Subnet Deployment” as a service that allows any business or organization to use Ava Labs to set up a custom subnet for them on AWS.
AWS now supports Avalanche’s infrastructure and dApp ecosystem, including one-click node provisioning. This makes it easier for more users to launch and maintain nodes on Avalanche, increasing network strength and developer flexibility.
Avalanche node operators can run on AWS GovCloud for FedRAMP compliance use cases. That means government agencies that are subject to strict privacy regulations could still use Avalanche technology for public sector initiatives.
Now that Ava Labs is part of the AWS Partner Network (APN) and AWS Activate, it can help customers deploy unique products on AWS connected to more than 100,000 partners in more than 150 countries.
Emin Gün Sirer, Founder and CEO of Ava Labs, said, “It has been a great boon for both individual and enterprise developers to be able to spin up nodes and test networks on the fly with AWS, in whatever jurisdiction it makes the most sense for them. AWS will also participate in future Avalanche events such as the Avalanche Summit, Avalanche Creates, and hackathons. AWS already powers the networks of a number of other blockchains, including Ethereum, etc.
