Frankie Muniz stunned fans during Monday night's episode of I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! Australia.

The Malcom in the Middle star shocked his fellow campmates after making a surprising confession on the second day of his stay in the African jungle.

“I have never eaten a tomato in my entire life,” the 38-year-old revealed at base camp, although he liked ketchup.

The show's celebrities listened in amazement as he revealed that he had never tasted a single strawberry either.

Muniz's candid revelation soon caused an uproar on social media.

“Haven't eaten a tomato or a strawberry!!!!!!?????” “He definitely seems a little strange,” the viewer wrote.

“There’s no way Malcolm in the middle has never eaten a tomato or a strawberry in his life???” commented another.

“Wow Frankie he really has the palette of a child,” another viewer commented.

“Frankie represents all of us picky eaters so well lol,” wrote one more.

Muniz further revealed that he was impressed when he tasted a tomato for the first time while enjoying a meal prepared by his roommate Khanh Ong.

The former child star joined I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here Australia on Sunday.

He admitted to The Daily Telegraph that he was asked to appear in several seasons of the show before finally agreeing.

“It was always the case that the schedule didn't work and the show didn't air in the US. To be honest, I wasn’t quite sure what it was exactly,” he said.

The star notably put his Hollywood career aside to focus on racing and was briefly the drummer for a band called You Hang Up from 2012 to 2014.
