Abhinav Bindra and others condole the demise of former Indian shooter Pournima Zanane

2008 Olympics gold medallist Abhinav Bindra led the way as shooting fraternity paid homage to former India shooter Pournima Zanane who passed absent not long ago immediately after a hard-fought battle with Most cancers.

“Deeply shocked and distressed by the news of untimely demise of an aged close friend Pournima Zanane. She was an intercontinental shooter and ISSF mentor. Our friendship goes back to junior workforce days.. But we will meet someday, somewhere again,” claimed veteran shooter Joydeep Karmakar on Twitter.

“RIP Pournima. You will be drastically skipped,” stated Bindra when responding to Karmakar’s tweet.

“We cannot think that you are no more time with us. This is a tragedy for us, we will pray for you expensive buddy Pournima Zanane. Relaxation in peace,” claimed Jaspal Rana.

Previous Indian shooter Suma Shirur mentioned: “Pournima Zanane’s premature departure from the world is really sad information. As a colleague & competitor, her vitality & enthusiasm to do factors in spite of a prolonged health issues will often be remembered! My teammate in the Railways, we gained quite a few medals together both national & intercontinental.”
