Anthony Eaglehorse-Lassandro, 27, came on a crowd of protesters just following 1 a.m. ET in close proximity to Southwest 3rd Avenue in close proximity to Alder Avenue in his car, law enforcement say in a statement. Eaglehorse-Lassandro then drove into the crowd, placing numerous demonstrators, driving off at “a substantial rate of velocity,” and likely the wrong way on streets, the statement adds.
Eaglehorse-Lassandro wounded 3 people today but all 3 had accidents that, police say, “are believed to be non-existence threatening.” Two were being taken to the medical center by ambulance and one client was taken for treatment in a private car, law enforcement additional.
Immediately after Eaglehorse-Lassandro fled the scene in his car or truck, law enforcement in plane “were equipped to watch the car or truck and present area updates as the suspect car or truck drove recklessly,” the assertion said.
Ultimately, he was arrested right after he hit one more automobile, a barrier, and tried out to flee on foot, police say.
Eaglehorse-Lassandro was arrested on counts that contain “Felony Hit and Operate,” “Reckless Driving”, and “Possession of a Controlled Material,” jail documents clearly show. It is unclear if he has a attorney.
This was the only arrest linked to the evening’s protests, law enforcement say.
