Scotland drew 1-1 with Ukraine in Hampden in November
Scotland’s World Cup qualifier in Ukraine – scheduled for April 8 – has been postponed to June 24.
The Scottish FA say they will not play a friendly on the original date instead, as group leaders Spain are due to visit Hampden in another qualifier on 12 April.
Pedro Martinez Losa’s side are second in Group B.
“Given the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, we fully support Uefa’s decision,” said Martinez Losa.
“Football obviously comes second in times like these. Our thoughts are with everyone in Ukraine affected by this terrible situation.
“We look forward to playing them at the right time and in the meantime we reiterate our message of solidarity.”
Ukraine had also asked to postpone their men’s World Cup play-off against Scotland on March 24 as that game is now also scheduled to be played in June.
