Swansea City’s Oilvier Ntcham could make his Cameroon debut against Algeria in the World Cup play-offs
Swansea City midfielder Olivier Ntcham has been brought into Cameroon’s 27-man squad for the 2022 World Cup play-off against Algeria.
The 26-year-old could make his Indomitable Lions debut as new manager, former Liverpool defender Rigobert Song, takes charge of his first competitive game.
Ntcham, a former France Under-21 international, has since scored three goals in 29 games for the Swans Joining a free transfer in September last year.
Hanover midfielder Gael Ondoa and Asteras Tripoli striker Kevin Soni have also retained their place in the squad after they get their first views 10 days ago.
However, Galatasaray defender Sacha Boey – another former France youth international – will have to wait for his debut for Cameroon after missing out on a spot in the final squad.
