Leeds United have only met Plymouth Argyle once before in the FA Cup, defeating them 2-1 at Elland Road in the fourth round of the 1972/73 season.
Plymouth have won just one of their 21 away games against Leeds in all competitions (D6 L14), a 3-2 win in the league in February 1962. The Pilgrims already have a 2-1 defeat at Elland Road in the Championship this season suffered.
Leeds United drew at home in the FA Cup for the first time since a third-round draw against Rotherham in the 2015/16 season, ending a record run of 13 consecutive away draws. Last season they won a third round replay against Cardiff at Elland Road and are unbeaten in four home games in the competition since a 3-1 defeat to Arsenal in January 2011.
Plymouth Argyle are aiming to reach the fifth round of the FA Cup for the first time since the 2006/07 season, when they eliminated second division side Barnet in the fourth round. The last three meetings in the fourth round of the FA Cup all took place away and were lost 2-1.
