Everton will have to dig deep to get results before their fans turn against them, says former Premier League striker Dion Dublin.
Monday’s loss to Wolves was the Toffees’ third loss in a row and left them just a point above the relegation zone.
“It’s a difficult question [for Frank Lampard]’ said Dublin on ` Radio 5 Live’s Football Daily podcast.
“Everton have done well. They created some really good chances but they just don’t have that reckless energy in front of goal. If they did, they might have won the game by a couple of goals.
“They kept the ball well. The wolves did the same, but the organization of the wolves was good. [Julen] Lopetegui knows what he is doing.
“It will hurt, but they have to dig deep into their pockets. The fans have stuck with them so far, but they’re getting frustrated now because they can see little glints of quality.”
