Bukayo Saka celebrates Arsenal’s third goal with teammates Marquinhos and Gabriel
New signing Gabriel Jesus scored his fourth goal of pre-season as Arsenal beat Chelsea 4-0 in a friendly in Florida on Saturday.
The Gunners dominated the game in front of a record 63,811 fans at Orlando’s Camping World Stadium.
Jesus coming from Manchester City in a £45m deal put Arsenal ahead after 15 minutes on 4 July.
Martin Ödegaard and Bukayo Saka contributed to the scorers’ list before Albert Sambi Lokonga scored in the 90th minute.
Arsenal have now won all three games of their US tour, scoring nine goals.
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel couldn’t hide his frustration after a lackluster performance from his side.
“I’m anything but relaxed,” said Tuchel.
“We deserved to lose, which is fair enough, because we just weren’t good enough. We just weren’t competitive.
“The worrying part is that Arsenal’s physical and mental commitment to that game was far higher than ours. They played their strongest line-up and structure, in my opinion, that you’ve seen in several weeks now. This was the line-up they will try to start for premier league games.
“It certainly wasn’t our strongest line-up. This is part of an explanation, but only a small part, and the other part is worrying.
“I can’t guarantee that we’ll be ready in two weeks.”
