Brody Brecht heard the questions. He’s out to shut her up. The former Ankeny Hawk has an arm in the major leagues and now he finally has a chance to show his future in football is just as bright. Last fall he had to wear a red shirt with a dislocated thumb. That’s healed. Brecht looked great in his other sport that spring. He was sensational on the hill, earning Freshman All-American honors, touching three-digit numbers on the radar gun and giving Iowa’s bullpen a big boost. The 6-4 wideout is now a redshirt rookie receiver on the football team and wants to prove he can be just as strong on the grid as he is on the diamond. Scott Reister from KCCI spoke with Brecht at the media day.
