The defending champions Los Angeles Rams are preparing to dominate again, this time with some shiny new toys. Check out the Rams’ futures odds, tips and previews for the upcoming season.
After winning the Super Bowl, the Rams look no less dangerous than they did a year ago. In fact, the team could field an even better roster in 2022.
They replaced Robert Woods with Allen Robinson and will expect a big step forward from Van Jefferson. The Rams will also welcome back a fully healthy Cam Akers.
Here’s our preview of the 2022 NFL season for the Los Angeles Rams, with a look at the team’s futures markets and our top picks (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook and FanDuel Sportsbook).

NFC West Win (+125)
I’ll stop naming a repeat Super Bowl win — or appearance — for the Rams because the risk involved doesn’t necessarily match the relatively overwhelming price tag.
But the odds of the Rams winning the division? Sign me up. The offseason was filled with questions about Kyler Murray’s offfield focus and the San Francisco 49ers’ quarterback dilemma.
With Odell Beckham Jr. and Woods both gone, Robinson has to fill in alongside Cooper Kupp as the Rams’ No. 2 wide receiver. Luckily for LA, he’s talented enough to serve as a team’s top reception option.
This offense is downright scary and works just fine as a companion piece to a top 3 defense. The 49ers’ quarterback situation makes them hard to trust, and their runner-up is still a bit of a liability after finishing 15th in the DVOA. Regardless, the Rams are the best team in the division and should be treated as one.

Over 11.5 wins (+200)
Let’s do our best to try and count the wins here. I think the Rams split their games with the 49ers, both taped against the Seattle Seahawks and probably parted ways with the Arizona Cardinals as well. Also, Los Angeles can beat the Buffalo Bills in the season opener. This lays the foundation for five victories.
From there, I like the Rams against the New Orleans Saints, Denver Broncos, Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Falcons, and Los Angeles Chargers. After that, the schedule gets tricky.
Los Angeles then needs two wins against one of the Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys, Las Vegas Raiders or Kansas City Chiefs. I think that’s entirely possible, so I’ll take the plus money offer for the Over 11.5 wins.
Akers over 925.5 rushing yards (-112)
Akers averaged 4.3 yards per carry as a rookie before an injury prevented him from improving even further in his sophomore year. It’s impossible to predict how many broadcasts he will receive as he missed almost the entire 2021 season. However, if he can repeat or improve his 4.3 yards per carry, he only needs about 216 carries to hit that over.
There’s a very good chance he can reach that number unless the Rams rely more on Darrell Henderson and ease Akers up as the season progresses. However, I think this is a good buy-low opportunity for a player who could be fighting for the title behind an incredible offensive line.
Robinson below 850.5 receiving yards (-112)
How many times have we seen big-name wideouts join good teams only to get criminally underutilized? I think that’s what’s going to happen with Robinson in Los Angeles, even though he’s in his prime at 28.
In fact, Kupp has formed a great bond with Matthew Stafford and should see most of the targets. Woods averaged about seven goals a game in nine contests and was just under 1,000 yards pace, but he had already spent years in head coach Sean McVay’s system.
There will be a transition period for Robinson, so I’m not sure if that line is really correct.
