Robinhood Markets quietly acquired a US futures executive broker from Marex earlier this year, retail group Risk.net has confirmed.
After its $220 million acquisition of ED&F Man Capital Markets in 2022, Marex had to sell off another futures commission dealer (FCM) company, giving Robinhood the chance to buy a key piece of off-the-shelf derivatives market infrastructure to make his entry into futures trading easier.
