Posted at 10:37 am – Corn is up 9 cents a bushel in July, soybeans are down 4 cents in July, KC wheat is down 16 1/2 cents in July, Chicago wheat is up 3/ in July Down 4 cents and Minneapolis Wheat is down 10 1/2 cents in July. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 107.83 points and Crude Oil is down $0.58 a barrel in June. The US Dollar Index is down 0.520 and Gold is up $24.90 an ounce in June. For what reason we don’t know exactly but wheat markets are falling sharply again and soybeans and soy flour are now trading lower. July corn is very firm with a possible bullish reversal signal if we can close here.

Posted at 8:35 am – Corn is up 2 1/2 cents a bushel in July, soybeans are up 5 1/2 cents in July, KC wheat is up 3/4 cents in July, Chicago wheat is up 4 1/4 cents in July and July Minneapolis wheat is up 2 3/4 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 14.51 points and crude oil is up $0.58 a barrel in June. The US dollar index is down 0.250 and gold is up $2.60 an ounce in June. Grain and soybean markets were slightly higher early Friday, with soybeans and bean oil leading the way. Good planting progress has been made and will be made next week when warm and mostly dry conditions prevail. The Kansas City wheat isn’t much higher to start, despite optimistic tour forecasts for the Kansas durum.

Posted at 11:36 am – In August live cattle are up $0.20 to $163.825, in August forage cattle are down $0.25 to $234.25, in June lean hogs are down $1.95 to 83, Down $35, in July corn is up 6 1/4 cents a bushel and in July soybean meal is down $2.60. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 173.41 points. Livestock contracts rebound into Friday noon as traders are elated that northern pastures are selling cattle at $282, up $2.00 from last week’s weighted average. Meanwhile, feedstock and lean hog contracts are trading lower as higher corn prices shake their markets.

Posted 08:37 — In August live cattle are up $0.25 to $163.875, in August feed cattle are down $0.23 to $234.275, in June lean hogs are down $0.88 to $84.425, in July corn is up 3 1/2 cents a bushel and July soybean meal is up $0.70. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 28.04 points. As the livestock market waits for cattle cash trading to develop further and for Friday afternoon’s Cattle on Feed report, its contracts are trading higher while lean hogs and feed hogs are mostly trading lower. Little livestock traffic was traded in both regions, meaning there must be more business on Friday.
