The group stage of the 2023-24 UEFA Champions League continues on Tuesday afternoon with another eight football matches as we approach the knockout stages. Manchester City are looking to make it five wins out of five but need to beat the RB Leipzig side who are hot on their heels. Meanwhile, French giants PSG are looking to take revenge on Newcastle for their 4-1 defeat at the start of the tournament, while fellow Group F clubs AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund continue their fight for a place in the top two and entry want to continue into the round of 16. Manchester City vs RB Leipzig best bet: Manchester City ML and both teams score (+147)
Both teams have already qualified for the knockout phase of the Champions League. Tuesday’s game represents a clear duel for top spot in Group G, with RB Leipzig needing three points to have a chance of usurping hosts Manchester City. However, a win in Manchester will be a difficult task for the German team as they face a side they have beaten just once in five meetings and are unbeaten in their last 27 games at the Etihad Stadium and in this one Series won 25 games. Leipzig also has a generally poor record in England, losing their last four games in the country with an overall score of 20:3 and could have problems against the reigning champions.
However, Pep Guardiola’s side have been less than convincing in defense this season and may not be able to keep Leipzig’s team full of attacking talent quiet on Tuesday. The Citizens have kept just two clean sheets in their last 11 games and given their shutouts against struggling rivals Manchester United and Swiss team Young Boys, there is a good chance the visitors will score.
Best bet between Barcelona and Porto: Both teams to score (-134)
Barcelona are fighting at the wrong time, just as they failed to qualify for the Champions League. The defeat at Shakhtar Donetsk in the last round of play leaves them with just a 3-point lead and aiming for a top-2 finish. The guests Porto are likely to make life difficult for them on Tuesday.
Barca drew 1-1 with Rayo Vallecano at the weekend and have kept one clean sheet in their last six games. The Catalans face a Porto side who have scored at least two goals in 6 of their last 7, and the Portuguese club have won their last 4 away from home.
