Austin, Texas – Americans in the state of Lone Star said they don’t expect much from President Biden in 2023, with several showing little confidence in his ability to improve the economy.
“I just expect him to be the same as always and not really do much for our country,” Eleanor, who lives in Dallas, told Fox News.

A man from Brownsville, a Texas border town, said he expects “nothing” from Biden in 2023.
“I don’t think he’s a good leader,” he said.
Several people questioned Biden’s ability to turn the economy around. Economists fear that the Federal Reserve’s rate hikes to combat rising inflation could lead to a recession.

“I hope we can improve the economy,” Mary, another Dallas resident, told Fox News. “I hope his team can get it back to where it was.”
“I don’t know if I really see that,” she added.
One woman said she expects the nation’s condition to worsen in the third year of the Biden administration.
“I just think it’s going to get worse than it already is,” the Houston resident told Fox News. “Inflation is so bad.”

But Moe, from Austin, said she hopes Biden will implement policies to support women after the Supreme Court ruled Roe v. Wade had picked up.
“I would love it if women were treated like human beings and got our physical autonomy back,” she told Fox News.
