Florida ice cream maker in Berlin plans to build of Germany first climate-neutral ice cream factory in Schönebeck on the outskirts of Magdeburg and creates 250 jobs. The company relies on photovoltaics and solar thermal energy, recovery systems from refrigeration technology and maximum savings; it also uses efficient deep-freezing and dispenses with the use of pumps and dosing systems.
