BEYOND THE EDGE – CBS today announced BEYOND THE EDGE, a new reality series that will see nine celebrities trade their worlds of luxury to live in the dangerous jungles of Panama, where they will engage in epic adventures and endure the most brutal of conditions while… move forward even beyond their comfort zone. From the producers of “Naked and Afraid” comes the most intense celebrity adventure ever attempted, where only teamwork, persistence and finding the inner strength they never knew they possessed will get them through another day bring and raise money for their chosen charities. Are the Fantastic Beasts movies coming to an end?
The reality series Beyond the Edge puts the contestants in a situation they’ve probably never faced before. The new CBS show stars nine celebrities who trade their world of luxury to live in the dangerous jungles of Panama.
Players must survive torrential downpours, scorching heat, and deadly wildlife while living in the jungle. The series, which premiered March 16, has no judges or eliminations. It is up to the candidates how far they are willing to go. When they reach a breaking point, they can ring a bell to signal when they’re ready to go home.
The brave stars don’t just do this for the experience, but for a good cause. The longer they stay and the more challenges they win for their team, the more money is raised for their charities. At the end of the 14 days, the top two earners will go head-to-head in one final adventure to be crowned Beyond the Edge Champion and take home the most money for their chosen charities.

Beyond the Edge will be hosted by Showtime sports announcer Mauro Ranallo. The series finale is scheduled for Wednesday May 18th and will be a two-hour event.
