Let’s start with fans who are athletes/ex-athletes themselves and played for the university. Former NBA player Horace Grant won three championships with the legendary Chicago Bulls of the 1990s. Grant played four seasons with the Tigers in the ’80s.
Besides him, you can also include Seattle Mariners and New York Mets infielders Brad Miller and Tim Teufel.

- Nancy O’Dell – Former television host on Entertainment Tonight from 2011 to 2019. She is a Clemson graduate who most importantly wished the Tigers the best of luck on their way to their 2019 national championship win over Alabama.
- Rob Hubel – Comedian and actor known for his role on Children’s Hospital. He was notably present at the 2020 national championship game where Clemson faced LSU.
