A former waitress at a “very upscale New Jersey steakhouse” has gone viral after revealing the best – and worst – behaved celebrities at her previous job.
In a video with over a million views, user Alouette (@aalouette_) shares her thoughts from her time at the steakhouse, including observations on the behavior of certain types of celebrities.
“I’ve seen everything, soccer players, porn stars, rappers, actors, singers,” she says. “Whatever the fuck you’re thinking, I’ve seen it.”

“These celebs are titled shit,” she claims. Alouette goes on to say that celebrities often showed up in the last 10 minutes before the closure.
She adds that the claim is worst for athletes. “Admittedly, not all famous people are rude, but most athletes? Very bloody justified,” she shares.
“This other athlete and his whole family would come every fucking holiday and tip us like two dollars,” she says.
But she also quickly found the best tippers.
“It’s the Italian men who come in with the ring on their pinky and the big chain that’s going to give you the good tip,” she says. She later adds, “Pornstars? They tip well because they are hard workers. entrepreneur? They tip well because they are hard workers.”
She then speculates that although athletes, rappers, and other celebrities are hard workers, “they forget what it’s like to actually work hard, I think. I don’t know… Maybe I’m crazy.”
“Working there definitely numbed me to the idea of being fangirls or caring about every damn celebrity,” she concludes, before noting that the nicest celebrity she’s met at work was singer Jhené Aiko.
In the comments, users shared their own alleged celebrity encounters.
“I served Odell Beckham at ihop maybe 6 years ago and he left me a $7 tip on a $100 check,” claimed one commenter. “I deliberately acted like I didn’t know who he was.”
“Served Paul Rudd once, the FINEST best tipster around. I will watch every movie and support it,” added another.
“Most celebs do NOT tip!! I worked in Manhattan nightlife for 10 years!!” a third claims.
Several users noted that their experiences with athletes, including Shaquille O’Neal and Steph Curry, were positive.
“Shaq is the nicest celebrity I’ve met,” said another user. “His whole family was amazing.”
“Steph Curry is super cute,” recalled another TikToker. “He used to be a regular at my restaurant and always sat in my department.”
Users also supported her claim about “Italian men coming in with the little ring and the big chain.”
“Yes to the Italian men. I used to work in a hotel in New York and Italian guys would tip me between $20 and $50 just for giving them a towel,” shared one commenter.
“The Italian with a ring on his little finger. The Indian with the ring on his little finger, the Armenian with the ring on his little finger. The little ring is the secret,” joked a second.
In an email to Daily Dot, the TikToker expanded on her original video and responded to some of the comments.
“Surprisingly, many of the comments I was able to capture agreed with me. I’m not the first to hear or say it — celebs are just getting a little cocky!” she shared. “In my own experience, the “C” or “D” list celebrities were the ones who stayed kind, humble, and considerate. I think there’s a disconnect from reality and a celebrity’s ego — one commenter said, “You think seeing her or meeting her is the tip” and I couldn’t agree more. The culture of worshiping famous people has always been questionable for me and working there only made it worse! Nevertheless, the nice ones always made up for it!”
