UConn Athletics announced Wednesday that Buckers has suffered a cruciate ligament rupture that will sideline her for the 2022-2023 season.
STORRS, Conn. — The announcement of UConn star Paige Bueckers’ season-ending ACL injury has rocked the sports world.
Fans and teammates have taken to social media to express their heartache at not being able to see Bueckers play during their junior season.
South Carolina head coach Dawn Staley, who faced UConn in the 2022 NCAA championship game, expressed sadness at the news.
