‘Love is Blind’ Season 4 Reunion Delay: Celebrities and Fans React Online, Share Strong Feelings

Sometimes technical problems get in the way of love. Legions of fans logged onto Netflix for the Love Is Blind season 4 live special on Sunday, only to find error messages and live streaming issues.

The special, which was the streaming service’s second live event following Chris Rock’s Selective Outrage standup show last month, was delayed by more than an hour from its scheduled start time of 8 p.m. ET due to Netflix’s technical problems and disruptions had to fight

The official Love Is Blind account shared a post on her story, writing: “Love comes too late. It will be worth it,” encouraging fans to stick with teaser images.

However, as the delay dragged on, excited fans had plenty of feelings about the whole fiasco and took to Twitter to vent.

“Waiting to attend the #LoveIsBlindLIVE reunion like it’s Zoom April 2020 happy hour,” one user wrote, while another (reasonably) complained, “Netflix has been pestering me all week to..” to see this live reunion and they can’t even get it running?”

Co-host Vanessa Lachey went live on her Instagram to share that the reunion hadn’t started as they awaited resolution, assuring fans, “It’s so 2023. I can’t show the cast of season four, but Nick and I and the audience is all here. We’re sitting here. Apparently you all broke the internet to see this reunion! So we’re ready to roll. We just have to find out. We make everything work. We don’t ask any questions of anyone until we stream live to your living room, to your phone, to your tablet, or whatever you’re watching. I promise we’ll save all the tea for you.

Lachey later shared a snap of Love Is Blind contestant Tiffany Pennywell asleep in her chair on stage waiting for the show to start, poking fun at the reactions to the long delay.

Netflix was even bravely trolled by Bravo, who, without directly addressing the streamer’s technical issues, simply tweeted: “We would never keep you waiting to see you again 😉”

After a delay of more than an hour, difficult decisions seem to have to be made.

On Sunday night, ET learned the Love is Blind reunion special will be pre-taped and released later that night on Netflix – although no specific time was given.

Love Is Blind Season 4 is currently streaming on Netflix.
