The latest drug case that caused a stir in Tollywood is taking a serious turn by the day. It is well known to all that the producer of the Kabali version, Krishna Prasad Chowdary (KP Chowdary), was arrested in a drug trafficking case. Police are also said to be serving court summonses to other Tollywood celebrities linked to the drug case.
Police are reportedly planning to send legal notices to several other celebrities in touch with Kabali-Telugu producer Krishna Prasad Chowdary (KP Chowdary), who was arrested in connection with the drug case. The list also includes many movie stars, athletes, doctors and businessmen. In the pre-trial detention report, the police claimed that they had all been supplied with cocaine. This led to unrest in the respective communities.
Defendant KP Khovdary had saved the list of drug buyers, bank transactions, phone calls, WhatsApp chats and photos from drug parties in his Google Drive. The police dug them all up as part of the investigation. Now, in order to find out the whole truth, the celebrities and other people must be thoroughly investigated. As part of the investigation, the police are therefore planning to address all notices and interrogate them.
On June 14, Kabali producer KP Khovdary had shipped 100 grams of cocaine from Goa to Hyderabad. KP Khovdary told police he sold 12 grams of cocaine. However, the defendant did not disclose to whom he had sold it. The police are focused on getting this information from him. The remaining 88 grams of cocaine were confiscated by the police.
