Memphis is one of those big cities with a small-town vibe, and Ja Morant’s incorporation into the conservatory drama Michael Oher – Tuohy Family is the perfect example of that.
In case you’ve been completely offline for the past few days, Michael Oher of the NFL and “The Blind Side” has filed a petition in Shelby County Court, Memphis, alleging he was tricked into Sign documents that Sean and Leigh Anne Touhy made his restorers. In other words, Oher claims he was never adopted and instead left his financial life to the Tuohy family.

Morant has absolutely nothing to do with the back-and-forth between Oher and the Tuohys, who also live in Memphis, but thanks to one of his trading cards, he finds his name with Oher and his “parents” in the headlines.
The Morant card from the 2021 Panini Chronicles was already known as rapper Young Dolph was killed in Memphis 2021 and Memphis rapper Key Glock was pictured in the background.
Both Glock and Dolph have grabbed all the attention for the card, at least until now. With the Tuouhys also featured in the background of the map, their value has skyrocketed as their name dominates sports news across the country.
The story behind this card just keeps getting CRAZIER…
Can anyone else identify a celebrity in the background here? 🤣
PSA 10 copies of this map sold for around $100 last week, and now with all the new discoveries it’s up to $325 and up! pic.twitter.com/FS4XEXfG84

According to Sports Card Investor, the PSA-10 version of the card could be purchased on July 31 for just over $100. Now PSA-10 versions of the map are selling for up to $550.
Morant made the headlines for all the wrong reasons and was suspended for the first 25 games of the upcoming NBA season. The Tuohys would rather not appear on the news at all.
But hey, at least some card collectors are making money.
