Rivington Pike and the various cafes nearby
Rivington is very popular with locals but is also very popular with celebrities.
Bolton’s Paddy McGuinness has been spotted at this beauty spot on a number of occasions, most recently on a bike ride in November last year.
Taking to his Instagram account, the Top Gear presenter posted a video of him mountain biking through the popular walking and cycling area of Chorley.
He has been spotted near the Pigeon Tower, the Oriental Gardens and the Bridge Hotel.

Paddy used to work at Horwich Leisure Center and he and his friends also posed for photos on the bike ride outside their old workplace.
Steven Gerrard was also spotted with friends in Rivington just weeks after Paddy was spotted.
The footballing legend shared the stunning views with his 10+ million followers and showcased the wonderful Borough of Bolton on social media.
The former Liverpool and England player was joined by Tom Culshaw and Martin Littlewood.
On Instagram he posted a picture from the top of the Pike.
Rivington is very popular with stars. Bolton-born ` radio presenter Mark Radcliffe, patron of the Rivington Heritage Society, spent much of his youth in this beautiful spot.
Le Mans Crescent
Bolton has some beautiful locations that are often used as filming locations, including Le Mans Crescent.
Downtown stars like Ewan McGregor and Cillian Murphy walked the cobblestone streets, but Coronation Street stars also flocked to the precinct for the perfect shot.

Ewan McGregor was also spotted at the Victoria Hall.
Celebrities have also been spotted filming for TV shows including Top Gear which saw Freddie Flintoff, Chris Harris and Paddy McGuinness tour Bolton.
friends cafe
This little cafe in Bolton was where TV stars filmed for Happy Valley.
The café in the city center has always been popular with customers and now its national flagship attracts even more customers.

The café was the scene of a confrontation between the main character Sgt Catherine Cawood, played by Sarah Lancashire, and her sister Clare, played by Siobhan Finneran.
The Royal Balti House
Many celebrities have been spotted at the Royal Balti House, a Farnworth based restaurant and eatery.
The eatery has seen the likes of Paddy McGuinness, Ainsley Harriott and the late Nat Lofthouse OBE eat their food, and since 2022 the eatery has even been featured on This Morning twice.
Ciaran Griffiths, who played Mickey in Shameless, also sampled the food and praised it, saying, “Great food, I’ll be back!”
The restaurant and diner has hosted many celebrities over the years.
Bolton Food and Drink Festival
Although the festival isn’t year-round, it’s a celebrity hotspot, with the likes of James Martin, Michael Caines, Great British Menu judge Nisha Katona MBE and other celebrities flocking to the city to share their culinary skills .

This year, Gok Wan will also come to the city center at the food festival on August 25-28.
He’ll take a spin in the main demo kitchen with some scrumptious Chinese cooking demonstrations, then take to the decks in an all-new DJ set on the popular main stage.
Carr’s pasties
Carr’s pasties are loved by residents across the county — but also by celebrities.
Over the years the delicious pies have been enjoyed by celebrities such as Peter Kay, Sara Cox, Chris Evans, Sir Clive Woodward and Arsenal and England legend Ian Wright.
Ye Old Pastie Shoppe
Bolton Bakery is one of the best in the area and a favorite with celebrities too.
Last year Gary Neville and Amir Khan went into the pie shop and Gary even praised the pie saying, “The best!”

Bolton is home to many hit celebrities who have been spotted multiple times across the county including Peter Kay, Vernon Kay and Paddy McGuinness – but there are also plenty of great spots where celebrities flock to the city from across the country.
