Emma Watson Shows Off Her Style In a Rare Selfie On Instagram

On Friday night, Emma Watson shared a rare selfie on her Instagram Stories immediately after sharing a video clip of some adorable otters. The movie star shared a glimpse of her summer style in the picture, which looks like it was taken outside in a grassy park. Watson wears a rich terracotta suede jacket with silver snaps over a khaki knit turtleneck.

The Little Women actress wore a wide-brimmed brown hat and a pair of chunky gold hoop earrings. Her honey blonde hair fell in beachy waves around her shoulders. She added a horse emoji above one bag.

To celebrate her 33rd birthday in April, Watson shared some more professional photos with a few more comments than usual about her personal life.

“Thank you to the witches in my coven who have been so instrumental in getting me to where and who I am now,” she wrote in the caption of a beautiful black and white portrait. “You are my Avengers and you inspire me and hit me. It takes a village, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.”

Last month, in an interview with the Financial Times, Watson explained why she took a five-year break from acting after completing work on Greta Gerwig’s film adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s famous novel.

“I wasn’t very happy, if I’m honest I felt a little bit locked in,” she said. “What was really difficult for me was that I had to sell something that I really didn’t have much control over. Standing in front of a film and giving every journalist the opportunity to say, “How does that align with your point of view?” It was very difficult to have to be the face and the speaker for things that I wasn’t involved in the process could become.”

Watson continued: “I was held accountable in a way that I found really frustrating because I didn’t have a voice, I didn’t have a say. And I realized that I just wanted to face things where, if someone gave me trouble, I could say in a way that didn’t make me hate myself, “Yeah, I screwed up.” .’ It was my decision, I should have done better.'”
