The demise of Asia Namirembe aka Asia wa Charles, a popular Ugandan TikToker, has left a cloud of sadness over several Ugandans who happily watched her skits.
Asia Namirembe rose to fame about two years ago for her dramatic love affair with Charles, which caught the attention of many netizens.
She became a TikTok sensation and quite a popular character on the app for her outgoing personality, dances, and skits with Charles.
After being thrust into the limelight by SB4 Media, Asia enjoyed a good chunk of fame and met several well-known socialites before reportedly walking down the aisle with Charles.
Asia’s demise was announced early Friday morning by SB4 Media owner Rogers Sebunya. He revealed that she died from a chronic stomach condition.
Asia had a few famous friends and fans, including singer Bobi Wine, who always admitted to being friends and former schoolmates with her.
Her fans on social media have been disappointed by his death and the internet has been littered with her photos and messages of condolences to her family.
Lydia Jazmine, Sheilah Gashumba, Pastor Mondo Mugisha, Ykee Benda, Chosen Becky, John Blaq, Rickman, Deejay Nimrod and others have expressed their sorrow.
