At ITV’s forthcoming Christmas Caroling Competition, celebrities are “slightly pushed out of their comfort zones to raise awareness of a wonderful cause,” said Jason Manford.
The comedian and singer will be part of an all-star jury super panel for Britain Get Singing, a 90-minute special pitting famous faces against each other to showcase their vocal skills.
The show will be hosted by TV and radio presenter Roman Kemp and will see a series of groups made up of stars from TV’s biggest shows compete in a sing-off for members of the studio audience.
The show airs on ITV and ITVX on Christmas Eve and supports the channel’s ‘Britain Get Talking’ mental health campaign.

When asked what viewers could expect from the show, he said: “You can expect all your favorite ITV faces to be pushed slightly outside of their comfort zone to raise awareness of a wonderful thing to make Britain talk and make Britain sing.
“It’s a great cause to be a part of. Seeing them up there doing something they don’t normally do is very entertaining.
“There’s laughter and tears — it’s a really beautiful, beautiful show.”
Manford said the celebrity contestants’ talent was “brilliant.”
“To get all these stars off Coronation Street, I don’t know how they found the time to rehearse and get it right,” he said.
“It was great to see everyone working together for a wonderful cause.”
Former Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am added, “I was blown away by the talent, purity of heart and love everyone brought to this show.”
Manford is joined by British Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon (Ian West/PA).
“It’s funny, emotional and surprising – it’s the perfect show for the holiday season,” she said.
Britain Get Talking launched in 2019 and has seen several famous faces – including Sir Captain Tom Moore, Susanna Reid and Maya Jama – speak about their personal experiences and struggles with mental health.
According to ITV, research has found Brits have had 100 million new or more meaningful conversations as a result of the campaign since it launched.
