To celebrate his 15th anniversary as a media personality, Ally Soudy hosted his first live show, titled “Ally Sound and Friends Live Show” on Saturday, August 5th at the Kigali Conference and Exhibition Village (KCEV), at the many celebrities, especially those from the region, came together entertainment industry.
Before the official opening of the event, the DJ entertained the audience with some mixes while the band greeted everyone with some instruments. A documentary curated by Felicien Gato Manzi entitled 15 Years Odyssey starred Sandrine Isheja Butera, Juno Kizigenza, Nizo Kaboss, Emma Claudine, Ziggy55, Jean Rambert Gatare and Aliah Cool on their professional relationship with Ally Soudy and his Rolle spoke big part in their growth.
At 9pm, Remmy Lubega, CEO of RG Consult Inc, introduced Ally Soudy, who took the stage in a red and black suit.

The Magic Guards duo from Burundi surprised everyone with magic that mesmerized the audience. After the sorcerers, it was Rumaga’s turn to engage people in traditional folk tales.
Soudy later received Nyambo Jessica, Killerman, Soloba and Dr.
B-Threy then entertained the revelers and later explained that KinyaTrap is about the music of the discipline and the nature of Kinyarwanda.

DJ Dizzo was later called onto the stage as evidence of a divine miracle. He gave his testimony and said that God is Almighty.
Back to music, Platini took the stage with dancers and performed “Shumuleta”, “Icupa” and “Slay Maman” which he dedicated to Kigali Boss Babes. Knowless joined him on the podium and asked him, “Platini, how are you feeling?” Ally Soudy also asked him, “Why did you do ‘Icupa’?” I made ‘Icupa’ after realizing that as young people we see beer as the only trustworthy friend we can count on.”
Singer Bwiza also got a chance to talk about her album and revealed that the main song on her album “My Dream” is a song she wrote for his future husband.
Comedian Patrick Rusine also cracked a few jokes on almost every celebrity in the room. Fally Merci joined him on stage for a few jokes and thanked everyone who supported Genz Comedy, including Ally Soudy.

“Such a hard but sweet journey that I never tire of,” he said, and then gave a live performance of “Wirira,” “Rwagihuta,” “Fourteen-Turatashye,” and “Araje.” The presenter then surprised him with a special recognition award for everything he has accomplished in music.
Massamba was amazed: “I’m still strong and grateful that Gakondo is doing well so far. I will continue to do whatever I can to protect this legacy. Thank you for this great award.”
Abdoul Makanyaga was also called onto the stage and he immediately performed Hashize Iminsi live and the music’s 50+ year anniversary is a tremendous triumph. He suggested having some young people who could follow in his footsteps. While there, he was also presented with a special recognition award from Ally Souddy and the crowd rose in respect. “This is the first time I’ve received an award since I started making music. It’s been more than 50 years and to this evening I have never received an award. Special thanks to everyone who came up with this,” Makanyaga said.

Among the audience were fans who asked to see the Kigali Boss Babes (KBBs) on stage. They were introduced and announced that they had just added a new member to the crew. Mico The Best and Uncle Austin joined them and teamed up with the KBBs to play a game against each other.
Uncle Austin, the winner, was awarded a brand new iPhone 11 Pro Max. He said, “With all the respect I have for the entire music industry and the expertise I have acquired, I would like to gift the new iPhone to the living legend Makanyaga Abdul.” He then handed the iPhone to Makanyaga.
Following this, Uncle Austin led the audience to pay tribute to the late Junior Multi Systema and with Mico The Best they performed some of their Junior produced songs.
Up-and-coming Burundian artist Drama T continued and put on a freestyle performance until the show ended at 12:20 am.
