Without the ability to promote projects due to the ongoing strikes, some celebs may be feeling a little afraid to dress up, go out and see and be seen. So it’s no surprise that stars are taking fashion month by storm, seizing the opportunity to attend events without breaking protocol. Many simply sit on the sidelines and enjoy the shows from the front row, others join in and step onto the catwalk, some for the first time ever. Of course, many non-actors also delve into the world of the catwalk, and some return to the craft after years of absence. Between ’80s it-girl Cornelia Guest’s appearance at Dennis Blasso and the return of Helmut Lang’s original models at Peter Do’s debut for the brand, there have already been enough surprising celebrity catwalk moments to get us through the month and With New We’re not even done with York yet. So keep checking back here as we keep track of all the surprising actors, musicians, drag queens and celebrities appearing on the Spring/Summer 2024 runway.
