All the Celebrities Attending the Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting 2023

There are many signs that the holiday season has begun: the first clear day of fall, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade where you swap iced coffee for hot coffee—and the list goes on. Always on this list, however, is the tree lighting at Rockefeller Center in New York City.

Here’s how to watch

Watch “The 91st Annual Christmas” at Rockefeller Center on Wednesday, November 29th at 8/7c on NBC and streaming on Peacock.

The annual event takes place in late November/early December and is always an exciting time. Of course, the tree itself is beautiful—an 80-foot-tall spruce decorated with more than 50,000 colorful lights and a Swarovski star at the top—but the evening is also packed with celebrities. So many A-listers are gathering at 30 Rock to ring in the holiday season, and the 2023 lineup is particularly fabulous. It even includes Cher. When the goddess of pop shows up, you know it’s a party.

“I am so excited to consider this city and Rockefeller Center my new home, and I can’t think of a better way to ring in Christmas this year than by being part of this beautiful New York tradition of lighting the Christmas tree. “Clarkson said in a statement before the big night.

“Lighting this magnificent tree at Rockefeller Center is one of the true joys of the holiday season and having Kelly as both a host and performer feels like we are getting our Christmas presents early this year,” said Jen Neal, Executive Vice President , live events and specials at NBCUniversal Media Group.

The tree lighting special, aptly titled “Christmas at Rockefeller Center,” will air Wednesday, November 29th at 8pm ET/PT on NBC and will be simulcast on Peacock.
