The Market is a Mirror
The market is a mirror. Whoever you are coming in is going to be projected in your demo or live account. Succesful traders are humble because they have seen thier weakness’ in this mirror and know that it takes much patience before acting and an inner discipline to stay the course and get beyond those weakness’ and accept what the market gives and teaches. There is no doubt trading is the best self analysis we can go through. And Mother Market doesn’t judge either. It’s the individual trader’s behavior that dictates whether they are a debit or a credit at the end of the month. I truly love the market because without having spent as much time as I have looking into her mirror I would never have grown as a person as I have.
And without that mental maturation I would not have known enough to listen to my mentors, nor would they have wasted time on me.
Trading is the last bastion for those with little to make much. That it also works the other way is well documented, and IMHO neither good nor bad.
