Roommate, Trump has finally publicly acknowledged for the first time that Joe Biden won the election, but that doesn’t mean his stance has changed. Trump still falsely claims that the 2020 presidential election was rigged, despite the lack of evidence to support his claims – and that he refuses to admit his loss.
Trump wrote the following message on Twitter confirming that Joe Biden had won the election before quickly doubling down on false claims that he had actually won instead:
“He won because the election was rigged. NO VOTE WATCHES OR OBSERVERS Allowed, Vote Tabulated by Dominion, a privately owned Radical Left company with a bad reputation and bum gear that couldn’t even qualify for Texas (which I won a lot!), Den Fake & Silent Media , & More! “
He wasn’t done yet so he added a little more and again stated that he refused to admit:
“He only won in the eyes of FAKE NEWS MEDIA. I don’t admit anything! We still have a long way to go. THIS WAS A RIGGED CHOICE! RIGGED CHOICE. WE WILL WIN!”
Even when a growing number of top Republicans called on Trump on Sunday to allow and allow an orderly transition for the president to join Joe Biden, he refuses to do so. Instead, he continues to spread unsubstantiated allegations of election fraud, which his supporters have continued to embrace.
Trump continues to claim, with no evidence, that the election was rigged, including falsely claiming that election observers were not allowed to watch the ballot count and that the tabulation machines were dirty. His campaign has filed lawsuits against the results in multiple states, which have been met by a series of court losses.
